Every effort will be made to adhere to the programme shown but last-minute changes may occur.

09:30 – 10:00 Registration and refreshments.
10:00 – 10:25 Welcome, followed by Annual General Meeting.
10:25 – 11:30 Fuelling the Cold War. Tim Whittle speaks about the reactivation of the Government Secret Storage and Pipelines system and how the aging network was refreshed and updated.
11:30 – 11:45 Comfort break. Please note that refreshments are not available.
11:45 – 12:45 Subterranean Sanctuaries. Dr Malcolm Johnson on the crypts of London.
12:45 – 13:45 Lunch break. A buffet lunch is included for all delegates. This will be in a nearby room.
13:45 – 14:00 Members’ contributions. Members are invited to give a short presentation (5-15 mins) on their recent discoveries or activities. Video and computer projection facilities will be available.
14:00 – 15:00 The Greenwich and Woolwich foot crossings. Mary Mills and Ian Blore on Thames tunnel crossings, the LCC and FOGWOFT.
15:00 – 15:15 Members’ contributions. Members are invited to give a short presentation (5-15 mins) on their recent discoveries or activities. Video and computer projection facilities will be available.
15:15 – 15:45 Afternoon break with refreshments.
15:45 – 17:00 Relics and inscriptions of underground WW2 Paris. Gilles Thomas on the Air Raid Shelters of Paris
17:00 – 17:15 Members’ contributions. Members are invited to give a short presentation (5-15 mins) on their recent discoveries or activities. Video and computer projection facilities will be available.
