09:30 – 10:00 Registration and refreshments.
10:00 – 10:25 Welcome, followed by Annual General Meeting.
10:25 – 11:30 Sub Brit's own Ed Waters on the recent Witch mark discoveries at Creswell Crags.
11:30 – 11:45 Comfort break. Please note that refreshments are not available.
11:45 – 12:30 Catesby Railway Tunnel. TotalSIM’s Rob Lewis on the re-use of a Victorian railway tunnel for the 21st Century.
12:30 – 12:45 Dowel Cave burials. Phil Catling on the 1950s discovery of Neolithic burials in a Derbyshire cave.
12:45 – 13:45 Lunch break. A buffet lunch is included for all delegates.
13:45 – 14:00 Members’ contributions.
14:00 – 15:00 The Barnton Quarry ROTOR R4 restoration project. Grant More will be giving us an chronological look at the huge restoration of the Edinburgh bunker.
15:00 – 15:15 Members’ contributions.
15:15 – 15:45 Afternoon break with refreshments.
15:45 – 17:00 Nordic fortifications with focus on the 20th Century. Our international speaker is Lars A Hansson, Swedish bunker expert.
17:00 – 17:15 Members’ contributions. Members are invited to give a short presentation 5 – 15 mins on their recent discoveries or activities. Video and computer projection facilities will be available.
